How do I unload film from a kodak colorsnap 35 model 2?

I recently bought a colorsnap 35 model 2 from ebay but when it arrived there was a roll off film in and I can't get it out! I have brought the rewind knob out from the recess but the film is stil jammed in, am I doing something wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
